JAN1N1206A Datasheet The LTC1729 is a charge termination controller for the LT1 505/LT1 51 0/LTl 511/LT1 51 2/LT1 51 3/LT1 769 con- stant-voltage/constant-current battery charger family. Table l detailsthese chargers. The primary function ofthis IC is to stop the charger after three hours of constant- voltage/constant-current charging. The secondary func- tion of this controller includes an indication when the charge current (during constant-voltage mode) drops below a user-selected threshold. A 500kHz Li-Ion cell phone charger is shown in Figure l. The LTC1729 0nly needs six external components when combined with the JAN1N1206A Price High-frequency applications require good grounding, power supply decoupling, low parasitic capacitance and inductance, and good isolation between the inputs to minimize their crosstalk. Avoid coupling from output to input to prevent positive feedback. l-grade: 20mA (Max.) operating current 0.20uA (Typ.) CMOS standby current C-grade: 20mA (Max.) operating current l-grade: 25mA (Max.) operating current 0.25uA (Typ.) CMOS standby current
