At a chip temperature of about 1600C the device is switched OFF. This state is similarto the STANDBY MODE. After the temperature remains under ap- proximately 1350C the element is switched ON. Thermal shut-down does not influence any logic be- cause it switches only the gates of all output DMOS- transistors directly to ground.
