R10002491 on stock The DS1742 constantly monitors the battery voltage of the internal battery. The Battery Flag bit (bit 7) of the day register is used to indicate the voltage level range of the battery. This bit is not writable and should always be a l when read. If a o is ever present, an exhausted lithium energy source is indicated and both the contents of the RTC and RAM are questionable. To allow portability of code, a GMS77C1000/1001 program- mer is required to read the configuration word and ID loca- tions from the hex file when loading the hex file. If configuration word information was not present in the hex file then a simple warning message may be issued. Similarly, while saving a hex file, all configuration word and ID infor- mation must be included. Configuration word should have the address of OxFFF. ID locations are mapped at addresses described in Section l.6.1 and Table 3-1. An option to not include this information may be provided. Hynix feels strongly that this feature is important for the ben- efit ofthe end customer. |
