These features allow the use of these devices in a mixed 3.3 V/5 V environment The 74LVC(H)2244A is an octal non-inverting buffer/line driver with 3-state outputs. The 3-state outputs are controlled by the output enable inputs 10E and 20E. A HIGH on nOE causes the outputs to assume a high impedance OFF-state. Schmitt-trigger action at all inputs makes the circuit highly tolerant for slower input rise and fall times. The '2244' is identical to the '2240' but has non-inverting outputs. R1160N221A Price The digital control section is built around the PIC16F628 Microchip microcontroller. This microcontroller acts as an interface between the IR21592 ballast controller and the Digitally Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI). Data is transmitted to the unit and the PIC16F628 collects the data through an isolation circuit. It then interprets the data and sends the appropriate signals to the ballast controllerIR21592 if necessary or sends information back to the DALI.
