RS804 Datasheet INPUTSIGNALS ANALOG INPUT CONFIGURATION The current and voltage sensor inputs a re illustrated in fig u re 3. These inputs are protected against electrostatic discharge through clamping diodes, in conjunction with the amplifiers input configuration. The feedbackloops from the outputs of the a m plifiers Ai and Av generate virtual shorts on the sig nal in puts. Exact duplications of the input currents are generated for the analog processing circuitry. The current and voltage sense inputs are identical. Both inputs are differential current driven up to +151_,A peak. One of the voltage sense amplifiers input terminals is internally connected to GND. This configuration is possible because the voltage sense input is much less sensitive to externally induced parasitic signals compared to the current sense inputs. RS804 Price TIMING AND CONTROL OF THE AD7575 The two logic inputs on the AD7575, CS and RD, control both the starting of conversion and the reading of data from the part. A conversion is initiated by bringing both of these control inputs LOW. Two interface options then exist for reading the output data from the AD7575. These are the Slow Memory Interface and ROM Interface, their operation is outlined below. It should be noted that the TP pin of the AD7575 must be hard-wired HIGH to ensure correct operation of the part.
