SKQCAE Datasheet The circuit board used in the final application should use RF circuit design techniques. Signal lines should have 50 0hm impedance while the package ground leads should be connected directly to the ground plane similar to that shown above. The evaluation circuit board as shown is available from Hittite upon request. SKQCAE Price Noise Considerations The comparator has an effective wideband peak-to- peak noise of around 101_,V. The voltage reference has peak-to-peak noise approaching l.OmV with a O.lpF bypass capacitor. Thus, when a comparator is used with the reference, the combined peak-to-peak noise is about l.OmV. This, of course, is much higher than the individual components' RMS noise. Avoid capacitive coupling from any output to the reference pin. Crosstalk can significantly increase the references' actual noise. SKQCAE on stock OOperation notes (1) When an output voltage greater than the reference output voltage (33.3V) is required, use a variable resistor (Murata RVG6P02-104M or equivalent product) with good temperature characteristics as shown in the ap- plication circuit. Make sure, however, that the voltage of the oscillator drive pin does not exceed 42V. (2) The coil to be connected between pins 2 and 3 should have the lowest possible DC resistance (under 101 ) and an inductance of 4.7mH (Sumida Electronics RC095-472K or equivalent product). 2. On the PC running PROCOMM, set up for a direct connect to the serial port, running 9600 baud, 8 data, 1 stop bit, and no parity. Set it up for a terminal type of either TTY or ANSI-BBS. 3.
