SKT1400-32E Datasheet In Figure 5 a new technique for supply voltage eliminates the need for an extra inductor winding. It uses capacitor charge transfer to generate a constant current source which feeds a Zener diode. Current to the Zeneris equalto (VOUT - Vz)(C)(f), where Vz is Zener voltage and f is switching frequency. For VOUT = 382V, Vz = 18V, C = lOOOpF and f = lOOkHz, Zener current will be 36mA. This is enough to operate the LT1249, including the FET gate d rive. SKT1400-32E Price · cL f = 400ldHZT Gpe JOdB(MIn (Po-lW) f - 250Lfflz t ~pe 15dB (Typ.) Reset noise is associated with rasetting the diode capaci- tance to a fixed voltage. Its root mean square value is given by <kTC)1/2/q where k is Boltzmann's constant, T is the abso- lute temperature, q is the electronic charge and C is the total capacitance of the photodiode (approximately 4 pF), the video line it connects to, and the capacitance of the extemal circuitry. At room temperature, kTC noise is approximately 1500 electrons rms. It can be reduced somewhat by cooling. |
