T he ENCODE and power-down (PWRDN) inputs are CMOS stages with T T L thresholds of l.5 V, making the inputs compat- ible with T Tl, +5 V C M O S, and +3 V CM OS logic families. The revolutionary design ensures that the diode has both fast forward and reverse recovery times, achieving the same performance as a discrete anti-parallel diode plus transistor. The integrated diode has minimal charge coupling with the transistor, increasing frequency stability, especially in lower power circuits where the circulating currents are low. By design, this new device offers a voltage matched integrated transistor and anti-parallel diode. This block is used to mix the auxiliary inputs and the signals coming from the DAC. This allows to use an UAC 3552A-based USB speaker in a non-USB envi- ronment, like WIN 3.11 0r other operating systems. On the other hand, it allows to connect additional analog sources, like CD-player or Walkman even while the speaker is connected to the USB. The input mixer is hardware-controlled by the AUXEN pin. |
