TPS380301QDCKRQ1 on stock The ADSP-216x uses a vectored interrupt scheme: when an interrupt is acknowledged, the processor shifts program control to the interrupt vector address corresponding to the interrupt received. Interrupts can be optionally nested so that a higher priority interrupt can preempt the currently executing interrupt service routine. Each interrupt vector location is four instruc- tions in length so that simple service routines can be coded entirely in this space. Longer service routines require an addi- tional JUMP or CALL instruction. Thus, to arrive at the total elapsed time, merely do a two's com- plement add to the original time written into the timer. Again, assume time written as o 0 1 1 0 1 0 0 (=52). With a divide by 8, totaltime to interrupt is (52 x 8) + 1 = 417T. Totalelapsed time would be 416T + 27T = 443T, assuming the value read afterinterrupt was 1 1 1 0 0 1 0 0. |
